The Athletic published an interview with Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, 58, on Tuesday (June 20). Cantona spoke about new United owner Jim Ratcliffe, players who have impressed him, and more.

“Sometimes you have to make decisions like this,” says Cantona. You have too many people and it can cause problems. One of the advantages of COVID-19 is that people have found ways to work from home. But I think people need to meet, collaborate, and solve problems face-to-face.”

“I believe in the energy that flows between people and I want to see that again at Man United. You meet someone, you meet someone else, you say good morning to each other. After a while, it becomes like a family. Not just the players, but the manager, the president, everyone at the club.”
