Ronaldo, now 38, wants to renew his contract with Saudi Al-Nasr until 2027

According to Britain’s Daily Mail on the 10th (Korea Standard Time), Ronaldo told the club’s management that he wanted to extend his contract with Al-Nasr until 2027.

Ronaldo is seeking to renew his contract with Saudi Alnasr before joining the Portuguese national team in October. He reportedly wants to play in the 2026 North and Central American World Cup through his performance in Al-Nasr.

Ronaldo, now 38, will play until the age of 42 if he signs by 2027, as he wishes.

Ronaldo signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al-Nasr in January this year. Although the club did not disclose it accurately, Ronaldo is known to receive 200 million euros (about 285 billion won) every year by June 2025.

Ronaldo, who is wearing an Alnasr uniform, is playing his best. He has 10 goals and 5 assists in the Saudi league in the 2023-24 season, ranking first in both scoring and assisting.

Al-Nasr, who had been sluggish for two consecutive losses since the opening, has risen to the third place in the league (6 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses, 19 points) amid the rise of the last seven games without a loss (6 wins, 1 draw, 1 draw).

Ronaldo’s performance is also continuing in the A national team as well.

Ronaldo, the current captain of Portugal’s national team, appeared in 201 A matches and scored 123 goals. He currently holds the record for most goals scored in A matches and continues to break his own.

From the 2006 World Cup in Germany to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, 2014 Brazil, 2018 Russia, and 2022 World Cup in Qatar, it has made five consecutive World Cup finals appearances. At the current pace, participation in the 2026 North and Central U.S. World Cup, which will be celebrated over 40, is not a dream.
