Soler Resort North, a new casino complex in the northeastern city of Quezon, Manila, will begin VIP operations in early September, the property promoter confirmed to GGRAsia.

Bloomberry Resorts Corp., which is listed in the Philippines, opened its Soler Resort North complex on May 25. The $1 billion property has 526 rooms and suites, and the casino currently offers 2,669 electronic game consoles and 163 tables across four floors.

A spokesperson for Bloomberry told GGRAsia on Friday that it had yet to confirm the number of tables to be allocated for the new VIP area. 토토사이트 추천

GGRAsia learned that Solair Resort North will have VIP gaming venues on the 36th and 37th floors. The opening ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Sept. 8.

Bloomberry on Wednesday reported net profit of 1.34 billion pounds ($23.7 million) in the three months to June 30. The company also operates Solaire Resorts & Casino in the Philippine capital of Manila.

Consolidated profit for the second quarter of earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) fell 26.2% sequentially, to just under 3.64 billion pounds, and 33.4% year-over-year.

In prepared remarks released alongside the latest results, Enrique Rajon, chairman and chief executive of Bloombury, said Solaire Resorts North had “a positive EBITDA of 250 million pounds in its first 37 days of operation.”

He added: “We’re in the early stages of property gains and we’re happy with the pace, especially compared to Entertainment City’s Soler ramp 11 years ago.”

Soler Resort North posted $2.25 billion in bulk sales just over a month after contributing in the second quarter. Its slots produced $10.38 billion in coin-ins.

Bloomberry said in a separate announcement on Wednesday that it is establishing an “annual dividend policy to further increase shareholder value.”

The announcement noted: “The Company expects Soler Resorts North to increase cash flow generated by the Group as it grows in the future quarter.”
