‘Super Max’ Tatum Signs 434.5 Billion Deal With Boston ‘Best Ever’

Jason Tatum (26), the main player of the Boston Celtics who recently won the most championships in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA), signed the best contract ever.

The Athletic reported on Monday (Korea time) that Boston signed a contract with Tatum for the Super Max. The deal is worth between five years and 314 million U.S. dollars.

The salary for the upcoming 2025-26 season will be $54 million. The salary will increase every season, and he will receive a whopping $71.44 million in the 2029-30 season, the last of his contract.

Tatum averaged 35.7 minutes in 74 games in the last 2023-24 season, scoring 26.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. He led the regular season with teammate Jaylen Brown.

Since then, Tatum has played an average of 40.2 minutes in the final five games against Dallas, contributing to the championship with 22.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists.

Although he handed over the position of the MVP to his teammate Brown, he was praised for doing his part in the last five games.

Boston signed not only Tatum, but also Zuru Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis and Derek White, completing the team’s 19th career win and second consecutive year.
