’26 three-pointers’ Golden State defeats LA Lakers 134:120

The Golden State Warriors used their long-range firepower to take down the Los Angeles Lakers.

Golden State drained a whopping 26 three-pointers to defeat the Lakers, 134-120, in the 2023-2024 regular-season finale at Crypto.com Arena in California on Tuesday night.

Steph Curry knocked down six 3-pointers, all of which found the rim, while Klay Thompson and Draymond Green added five apiece to lead the Warriors to victory.

Golden State, which has swept eight of its last nine games, moved into 10th place in the Western Conference with a 44-35 record, 바카라사이트 half a game back of the ninth-place Lakers (45-35).

LeBron James had 33 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds for the Lakers, but he was unable to fill the void left by Anthony Davis, who was out with an injury.

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Charlotte Hornets 130-104, led by Luka Doncic’s triple-double (39 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists).

With the win, Dallas (49-30) clinched at least the sixth seed in the Western Conference and a direct playoff berth.

The Milwaukee Bucks were not smiling after the win due to an injury to franchise center Yannis Adetokunbo.

Milwaukee defeated the Boston Celtics 104-91 at home at Fifth Third Forum to clinch the top seed in both the Eastern and Western Conferences.

Adetokunbo, a two-time reigning NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), grabbed his left calf near the end of the third quarter and crumpled to the floor in pain.

He went into the locker room and didn’t return until the end of the game.

Adetokunbo finished with 15 points and eight rebounds in just 30 minutes of action, while Patrick Beverley chipped in with 20 points in the win.

The game featured only two free throws attempted by either team. Boston didn’t have a single free throw opportunity all game, while Milwaukee shot two and made one. That’s the fewest in NBA history.

The Philadelphia 76ers, who are benefiting from Joel Embiid’s return, beat the last-place Detroit Pistons 120-102 to extend their winning streak to six games.

Embiid, who returned to action three days ago, scored 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a performance that belied his knee surgery.

Philadelphia sits at 45-35, seventh in the Eastern Conference and in the hunt for the sixth seed, which is a direct playoff berth.
