OK Financial Group saw its winning streak come to an end after losing to Hyundai Capital 2-3 (28-30, 27-29, 28-26, 25-19, 13-15) in the fifth round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League Men’s Division at Sangryoksu Gymnasium in Ansan on April 2.

After taking the lead in both the first and second sets, the team gave up the momentum to their opponents and lost the match at deuce. Fortunately, he was able to take the third set and push the match to a fifth set, but fell short at the end and had to settle for a point. OK Financial Group head coach Ogino Massa said, “We expected a tough match because Hyundai Capital’s side attackers have a high success rate. Points are important, so even if we lose, we need to play a match where we can win two sets and get at least one point.”

He also talked about the importance of the first set. “It’s especially important to win the first set,” said Ogino.
