Las Vegas’s Mirage Hard Rock Acquisition Is Greenlighted

If you’ve ever walked the Las Vegas strip, you’ve probably walked through the Mirage and watched the iconic volcano show. Well, some changes are coming up. Last Friday, the Nevada Gaming Commission approved Hard Rock International’s purchase of the Mirage from MGM Resorts.

“Today, we want to thank the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Nevada Gaming Commission for approving game licenses for the operation of The Mirage Hotel & Casino,” said Jim Allen, president of HardRock International. “We are eager to finalize the purchase of The Mirage and look forward to welcoming 3,500 team members to the HardRock family soon.”

The Polynesian-themed resort is set to turn 33 later this month, but renovations on the property are coming just over a year after Hard Rock International, owned by the Florida Seminole Tribe, agreed to buy the property north of $1 billion from MGM Resorts.

The good news is that the Mirage will not close while the renovation is in progress, which, according to Allen, could take up to 30 months. However, with the resort’s change to Hard Rock Hotel and Casino – Las Vegas, a guitar-shaped tower will rise and the iconic volcano will retire. Once construction begins, the volcano will be shut down until it is eventually demolished for the tower.

Despite the change of owners, guests who have already made reservations related to the Mirage will honor them. For casino players, your chips will still be repaid after the deal closes.

As the expected innovation began, Mirage posted the following on its website: 카지노사이트 순위
