The 2023 Association of Paddlesurfing Professionals (APP) World Tour Busan Paddleboard Open will kick off on October 7 at Gwangalli Beach in Busan, South Korea. This year’s edition of the Busan Paddleboard Open, held for the second time since last September, will feature this season’s men’s world No. 1 Conor Baxter (USA), last year’s Busan Paddleboard Open winner Rai Taguchi (JPN), and other Korean athletes such as Choi Ji-won and Han Sung-ho .A prize fund of 25,000 euros (about $35 million) is up for grabs in the professional competition, while amateurs will compete in 3- and 6-kilometer races for each age group .Paddleboarding is a water sport that involves paddling on different types of boards .On the evening of Oct. 7, the first day of the competition, there will be a drone show, followed by a beach party on Oct. 8, an exotic dog competition and beach yoga on Oct. 9.
