Senecas Goes Out to Support Casino Fight

On November 4, a lawsuit was filed against the closure of Seneca Buffaloes Creek Casino. It contained an affidavit stating that three of Buffalo’s leading figures supported the casino.
The casino was built on sovereign land, which U.S. District Judge William Screnny ruled was not eligible for use in games, but Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown sees it as a positive feature for the region, along with Erie County Executive Chris Collins and New York State Game Bureau employee Robert Williams.

Casinos are currently in the middle stages and opponents want to see casinos closed and no further work allowed on permanent structures. However, temporary casinos already provide valuable revenue for the region and will create a large number of jobs through construction and the operation of permanent casinos. 경마사이트

In addition, Seneca Nation, which owns it, plans to promote the characteristics of the surrounding area as well as the casino, so it will bring about an increase in tourism that will benefit everyone. Work on the project was halted in July 2007, when economic uncertainty was growing, and has yet to resume.
