Hosted and organized by the Korea Basketball Association, the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Sports Council, and the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Basketball Association, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Sports Promotion Agency, IS Dongseo, Prospects, Sejong City, and sponsored by Dong-A Otsuka, Molten Korea, Dang-Curak, Jesspa, Da-da, GC Spocare, Players, and Sejong Sports Orthopedic Surgery.

Sejong Special Self-Governing City has shown keen interest in the 3×3 event, with Kim Mi-sun, president of the Sejong Special Self-Governing City Basketball Association, participating in the demonstration event for the National Sports Festival. In line with this, the city is hosting the KBA 3×3 Korea Tour for the first time in its history.

A total of 66 teams from six categories will participate in the Sejong competition, including elementary, middle school, high school, men’s open, women’s open, and Korean League men’s.

In particular, the newly founded Sejong Black Label will make its official debut in June. Sejong Black Label, which previously worked under the name of Black Label Sports, aims to win its first Korea Tour title this season on its home turf.

Sejong is located in the center of the country and has the advantage of being highly accessible anywhere in the country. In fact, it is within two hours of travel from Seoul and Busan. From early morning, 3×3 basketball lovers gathered from all over the country to enjoy the Sejong competition, completing the preparation to enjoy the two-day 3×3 festival.

In addition, the women’s open division, which was not held at the Inje competition in May, will resume from this competition. Five teams will compete in the women’s open division, including LOL, YAP, Man to Man Unnam Gymnasium X, Golden Age Sports, and Enjoy Farming.

However, it was a Korea tour that was less fortunate. Rain was forecasted all weekend in the Sejong area this week. The association kept an eye on the forecast and tried to be cautious about changing the venue, but eventually changed the venue to host a competition at the Hamill-dong Complex Community Center rather than the existing outdoor court in front of the central square of Sejong Lake Park.
