Station bosses have discussed prospects for other casino parcels it owns across the valley, but have not said whether it will develop the Alliante casino. But investors have long speculated that the station and Greenspan were the first in line to run the Alliante casino because they have a similar ownership deal with Henderson’s Green Valley Ranch.
Stationmaster Frank Pertita III is recognized for his innovative designs on Green Valley Ranch. It is considered the most luxurious of the casinos near Green Valley.
Nielsen said the property was a “wonderful success.” 온라인경마
The station owns 50 per cent of the green valley ranch, and manages the property for a fee that includes 2 per cent of the property’s revenue and 5 per cent of operating cash flow. The station is also a partner at the Boris Brew Pub Casino and Restaurant and Greens Cafe in Henderson, along with Greenspan.
Brian Greenspan, president of Greenspan, said in a statement, “With the success of the Green Valley Ranch Resort, we have an excellent relationship with Fertitas and Station Casino, and we are confident that they will develop and operate quality projects for our residents and the surrounding North Las Vegas community.”
Station officials do not anticipate resistance from nearby residents because the casino was originally part of the framework plan. This means that homebuyers have been notified of the casino and other details, such as its maximum height, station officials say.
The casino license was approved by North Las Vegas four years ago when the U.S. state of Nevada bought the land with Del Webb. The license allows the station to build up to 800 rooms and 150 feet of hotels along with the casino, which has 100,000 square feet and at least 4,900 parking spaces.
This project requires a design review from North Las Vegas.
The station, which already owns Santa Fe, Fiesta Rancho, and Texas stations in northern Las Vegas, is enviably competitive. The Alliante station site is the only site for casinos along the Beltway in northern Las Vegas.
Olympia Group, the developer of the Southern Highlands in the far southwest valley, recently proposed casinos on land purchased for a master plan residential community adjacent to Alliante.
But North Las Vegas Mayor Mike Montandon opposed another casino in his city.
Building a casino nearby would require developers to overcome some regulatory hurdles that prevent the land from being designated as a casino zone. Mr. Nielsen said the land purchased from the federal government outside the city could one day be designated as a casino zone, but that would take years, putting the station in a significant advantage in the competition.
