The Bruyne Runs After 5 Months… Man City Team Training X “Club World Cup Well…”

Manchester City’s official page announced on the 9th (Korea time) the extent to which the Bruyne has recovered from his injury. “The Bruyne has started running on the pitch. However, the team has never trained before,” Pep Guardiola said on his official channel.

The Bruyne is a key Manchester City midfielder. He played as a “brain” in Guardiola’s soccer and accumulated attack points. As a top-class midfielder in the Premier League, he contributed greatly to the Manchester City treble last season.

One needs to look no further than the 2022-23 season records. He played in 43 matches including all competitions and scored 10 goals and 29 assists. Even “Monster Striker” Erling Holland was at the front nine. It was the driving force behind Manchester City’s victory beyond the Premier League to Europe.

However, early in the 2023-24 season, The Bruyne has put the brakes on his team. His hamstring injury suffered in the UEFA Champions League final has not been fully cured. He did not even play in pre-season games this summer to recover from the injury, but he suffered pain again in the Premier League opener.

He returned to the bench in the first half while playing in the opening match against Burnley. When asked about injury sustained by The Bruyne, Guardiola said, “I have to focus on recovery for three to four months. If I have surgery, it will take longer.”

The key midfielder was injured, but Manchester City was solid. Existing players such as Bernardo Silva filled the gap of The Bruin with team play. Elling Holland also led Manchester City to victory, showing off his scoring ability at the front line.

Manchester City included The Bruyne in their list for the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup to be held in Saudi Arabia from Dec. 12-22. They were followed by Stefan Ortega, Ederson, Scott Carson, Kyle Walker, Huven Dias, John Stones, Nathan Ake, Sergio Gomes, Yosuko Gvardiol, Manuel Akanji, and Rico Lewis.

Midfielders included Kalvin Phillips, Matteo Kovacic, Jack Grealish, Rodri, The Bruyne, Bernardu Silva, Mateus Nunes and Phil Foden. The attack will send Erling Holland, Jeremy Doku, Julian Alvarez and Oscar Bove. 파워볼실시간

As The Bruyne made the roster for the Club World Cup, there was even a possibility that he could return later. However, Guardiola said, “We have two to three weeks until the Club World Cup. I think it’s a little early, but I can’t guarantee it.”
